Developed specifically for the care of skin prone to excessive sebum production and the formation of pimples and blemishes in teenagers, as well as in women and men.
Sensitive Clear PURIFYING FACE CLEANSING FOAM is a rich and gentle mousse with an acidic pH, featuring tea tree essential oil and white willow extract for gentle yet deep daily facial cleansing.
Acne is an inflammatory issue of the sebaceous follicles, arising from the accumulation or excess of sebum.
This is a common problem for teenagers, increasingly seen in adults as well, associated with hormonal issues, medication therapy, inadequate skincare, or diet, among other factors.
Problematic skin is demanding and requires special formulations for daily use.
Deep yet gentle cleansing should only remove dirt and excess sebum to counteract both its accumulation and overproduction. Ideally, it has an acidic pH and uses only mild surfactants that are gentle on already inflamed skin.
Tea tree essential oil is the common name for the essential oil obtained by steam distillation from the leaves and twigs of Melaleuca alternifolia, a plant native to Australia.
Among the many traditional uses of tea tree oil, its antiseptic activity and effectiveness in treating skin issues such as acne have been confirmed in several studies published in the literature.
The white willow extract used in BIOEARTH SENSITIVE CLEAR has a standardized content of natural salicylates (53-65%), providing the exfoliating and antibacterial properties of salicylic acid without the unwanted irritating factor: it helps counteract the inflammation characteristic of acne.
Thanks to its proven antioxidant properties, it is an effective natural stimulator of cell regeneration, promoting the restoration of the skin’s physiological balance even in the most polluted skin.
Recommended during inflammatory stages, for the most irritated skin.
Can also be used as daily cleansing in the presence of blackheads.
